My nine-year-old daughter Ryland and I made this game for the 1-BIT JAM 6. We used a Pico-8 like library I'm making called Nano-9 which is built on top of Bevy.

The game is incomplete. Once you get past the first fight, you're out of our hands so to speak. Still we were happy to have completed the main menu including options and credits. 

We did a number of firsts. This is her first game jam. This is our first time using Nano-9, which is still very green, but it was really fun to do a Pico-8 style game without the limitations of Pico-8. Just recording sounds over the microphone and throwing them into the game felt very liberating.
